/ Six Hours of Noon

/ The work consists of four canvases of the same size. They were exposed simultaneously for six hours, each one facing a different cardinal direction — North, South, East, and West. The light present at that specific moment at the exposure location was captured and fixed onto the canvases. The work was later exhibited at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, in the same spot where the exposure took place. The main building of the Academy is aligned with the geographic cardinal directions, so its cubic shape directly faces North, South, East, and West.
