Bio

Dawid Dobosz is a Polish-born artist based in Amsterdam whose interdisciplinary practice spans sculpture, installation, and image-making. Dobosz creates situations that explore transformation and entropy through material processes. He uses technological advancements and natural materials to explore change and archive its processes. These explicit actions form the conceptual and formal basis of his work.

He studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and completed an exchange at Seika University in Kyoto. His work has been shown, among others, at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Noorderlicht Biennale, W139, M4gastatelier, Treehouse, PAKT Foundation, and Gallery Terras-S Kyoto.
